Description:
Automotive seating supplier is in need of 2 Kitters for their warehouse in Clinton Township. Activities include parts moving and re-stocking, internal warehouse movement, and other activities as required by their supervisor.
Shift: 6am -2:30pm and 9am -5:30pm
Pay Rate: $16-$17 based off experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Transfer material from defined storage locations using a cart or fork lift2 and a handheld computer (scanner) to production lines.
- Manage inventory by moving, splitting, and merging containers in handheld computer (scanner)
- Consult Inventory in Materials Management System to ensure FIFO (First-in-First-Out) order.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to multitask and track multiple processes throughout the shipping process
- Availability to work overtime including occasional weekends, public holidays, and evenings
