Produce Grader

Description:

Warehouse Production Graders to join our team. In this critical role, you will work on production lines to sort incoming raw product: peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers; ensuring that all product meets the required specifications for our customers.

Pay Rate: $13 (once hired direct $15)

Full time shift: Days and Nights 6am – 6pmn and 6pm-6am

• Sunday – Saturday 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain product quality standards that meet product specifications.
• Assist in packaging/washing set up, as needed, to ensure smooth flow of product.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized department that meets all food safety requirements.
• Must handle all sanitizing chemicals safely, as prescribed.
• Work as a team member; follow directions and offer support and suggestions when necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma is preferred.
• Related work experience in food production an asset.
• Proficient in use of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Available to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays may be required).
• Be respectful and deal tactfully with employees, customers and vendors.
• Keep all company information confidential and will not disclose any company information to outside individuals.
• Complete a background check.
