Maintenance Technician

Currently ScoutHR INC is seeking Maintenance Techs for a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier for their Pontiac location. State of the art facility looking to grow and have you join their team. 

Pay Rate: $27 – $37 plus premium shift

Position Summary for the Maintenance Tech:

Responsible for inspection, installation and repair of machines used for production and within the tool room and maintenance machining areas. In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs Maintenance Tech Provides production support by performing setup, troubleshooting and operations of automated welding cells within a production facility, as well as implementing best practices and proactively assess welding/robotic applications

• Cleans machines.
• Performs welding tip changes
• Performs change over process of stationary welders, change out cells, and automated cell
• Performs fixture preventative maintenance tasks
• Follows proper lubrication practices for linear bearings, ball screws, and pillow block bearings
• Able to run Red Rabbit process and troubleshoot issues if a failure occurs (i.e., properly adjust sensors or switches)

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of Machine Repair experience
• Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics experience
• Basic understanding of relevant Robotic controls and processes
• Ability to physically perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
