Here is your chance to work at one of the largest OEMs in the aerospace, civil and defense industry as their Electronic Maintenance Technician. We are seeking individuals with 3+ years of mechanical and electrical repair of CNC machine tools experience to join their team ASAP!!!
 
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm. 

Summary:  
As the Electronic Maintenance Technician, you will work on large scale CNC machines, troubleshooting control systems to ensure minimal downtime. You will be part of a small team of Facilities and Maintenance professionals supporting the Walpole location, partnering with onsite operators and contractors to diagnose and repair equipment. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring high-level productivity across the Walpole site.

What you will be doing:  
  • Proactively identify machine issues and provide preventive maintenance in partnership with machine operators
  • Provide reactive maintenance, troubleshooting CNC machines and controls issues (electrical/ electronic, hardware/software) to decrease downtime where possible
  • Provide auxiliary equipment maintenance, including air compressors and vacuum units
  • Provide test equipment maintenance
  • Partner with onsite vendors to oversee and support projects, acting as project liaison between vendor and site leadership
What we need from you: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical repair of CNC machine tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S security clearance

  • Strong electrical and mechanical background/understanding
  • Familiarity with Siemens controls (840C, D, Operate) & Fanuc
