Here is your chance to work at a globally leading engineering and digital mobility company as their Business Development Manager in Auburn Hills, MI!!! We are seeking individuals with 2+ years of relevant business development and sales experience to join their team ASAP!!!

Shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Hybrid Work Schedule: 1 to 2 days in the office, 3-4 days work from home; after training period. 
Travel: Less than 5%

What you will be doing: 
  • Manage key automotive / Tier 1 client accounts and associated business development efforts
  • Lead identification and development of new business opportunities
  • Initiate cold / warm introductions to obtain voice of the customer feedback and obtain projects
  • Lead engineering team to identify and meet customer requirements
  • Ability to establish new relationships and build current relationships
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understand the customer organization(s)
  • Support trade shows, congresses and exhibitions from a business development and staffing perspective
What we need from you:
  • Requires a BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Powertrain and / or vehicle development / testing background is a plus
  • A BA degree in Business will be considered if business experience strongly supports technical competence
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant business development and sales experience in the described markets is desired, but not required
  • Candidate must have strong communication skills
  • Experience with automotive customers is a plus
  • Ability to develop and support detailed technical presentations to customers
  • Exceptional written/oral English skills and the ability to support detailed and clear quotations and proposals to customers.
  • Ability to function in a matrixed, team organization with minimal supervision
